Dolce Bellissimo

Dolce Bellissimo was a real find. We chanced upon it as we were shopping in Claremont. It was buzzing which is always a good sign. Got a nice table for two. Menu is quite extensive with a good wine list and several desserts to choose from. We ordered a Rhonda pizza and a prawn and squid salad with 2 glasses of Prosecco to wash it down. Both meals arrived in about 20 mins. They looked amazing and tasted just as good. This was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time, wood fired to perfection, my wife even ate the edge of the crust which is a first. The seafood in the salad (prawns, squid and scallop) was grilled beautifully and complimented the green salad beautifully. We finished with a great coffee. All in all our best lunch experience in a little while. Bravo Dolce Bellissimo!

A group of us had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The owner and some wait staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional. When we informed them of mistakes in our order, they responded with anger, intimidation and aggression. The owner's behavior was especially appalling, as he asked us to leave instead of rectifying the situation. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I strongly advise against dining here.

The place is abuzz with staff flying around (still being courteous and welcoming) with Albasio directing the Team as only a flawless and experienced restaurateur can. Food came fast and fragrant - pizza was tasty and flavoursome - felt like being in Italy without the hefty travel cost - had to leave to go back home reluctantly (took with me some sweet bigne' to alleviate the pain of going back to real life) - well done to the guys at Dolce Bellissimo - "Salute" and see you next time!! We went again with a small group of Italian friends- I chose the Gamberi pizza and I have to say it was the most fragrant I have had in a long time- the right amount of chilli flakes and the juicy prawns delicate taste was enhanced by deliciously salty anchovies - the base was of substance and I couldn't help myself eating the edges as well (that's a sign you don't want to waste any part of it - really well prepared base and held the ingredients properly). All went down with a nice Birra Moretti - Albasio and Team have done it again!!

Absolutely horrific. Never again. Whilst their food has always been of a high quality, their Service & attitude has always been bad, but this time, unfortunately the owner - and his team - took it way too far! A commedy of errors on their part, a very inflexible & arrogant approach and attitude, and some serious anger issues resulting in intimidation, abuse and border-line threats. The tables sitting next to us all sat and watched in absolute disbelief as to the way in which we were being abused and mis-treated, and made comment as such to us. Perth is a small place, and a fair few people we know have had similar experiences there, and have never returned. It’s no wonder his previous 3 or 4 restaurants haven’t lasted. And anyway, who on earth closes their kitchen at 820pm on a Friday night!
